Varshitha Chamanahalli Ramanna

I completed my Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in India, which laid the foundation for my technical skills. After graduation, I worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Ernst & Young LLP in India, where I gained valuable experience in software development and problem solving.

To deepen my knowledge, I moved to Germany to pursue a Master's degree in Media Engineering at Ilmenau University of Technology. I graduated in 2024 with a thesis on “Investigation of Audio Streaming Applications Using Machine Learning”. This thesis allowed me to explore the intersection of technology and machine learning and how it can be used to improve streaming experiences.

At the end of 2024, I joined Fraunhofer FIT as a research associate in the Automated Energy Systems group. In this role, I am involved in cutting-edge research focused on the development of modular systems for energy efficiency and automation and contribute to innovative solutions in this field.

My background in engineering, software development and technology, combined with my passion for advancing intelligent systems, drives my work in both the software and energy sectors.
