As a research assistant in the Cyber Analysis & Defense (CA&D) department at Fraunhofer FKIE, I am also conducting parallel research as part of my doctorate at the Chair of IT Security (ITSec) at RWTH Aachen University. My focus is on maritime cyber security, in particular security in underwater communications. The aim of my work is to develop innovative approaches to make underwater communication infrastructures more resilient against cyberattacks.

Previously, I completed my Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at RWTH Aachen University, where I discovered my passion for IT security during my Bachelor's thesis. I am fascinated by finding practical solutions to complex technical challenges, especially in such a specialized field as maritime security. Interdisciplinary collaboration and the combination of research and innovation are what drive me in particular

  • Cyber security in the maritime sector

    Simulation and emulation environments
