I studied Computer Engineering at Istanbul Technical University and completed my Master's degree in 2018 with a thesis on "Predicting IMDB Movie Ratings Before Premiere Using Factorization Machines and Multi-View Data." During my Master's studies, I simultaneously worked as a software engineer in the industry on research and development projects, gaining valuable practical experience.
Driven by my interest in digital energy solutions, I started working as a research associate at Fraunhofer FIT in 2024, where I am involved in a large European project on digital twin technologies for power grids.
In addition to my work on modular control systems and innovative technologies, the focus of my doctoral research is on AI-based approaches to overcome data scarcity in energy systems, particularly through the use of generative models.
