Fraunhofer Center Digital EnergyA Digital Twin for Multi-Modal Energy Systems
On September 27, the kickoff meeting for the project »Open Energy Twin - Open, Interoperable, and User-Centered Platform for Sustainable Energy Systems« took place in Oldenburg.
Fraunhofer FIT, together with partners RWTH Aachen and OFFIS (coordinator), will develop a modular control system for multi-modal energy systems, centered around a digital twin of the system. A Minimum Viable Product is to be jointly implemented and demonstrated by the end of the project in February 2026.
