After completing my bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in India, I started my career as a development engineer for gas-insulated switchgear at Crompton Greaves Limited in India. My drive to contribute to a sustainable energy system led me to Aachen, Germany, where I completed my Master's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2018 with a Master's thesis on “Emergency Energy Management System for Power Grid Restoration in Microgrids”.
Immediately after completing my master's degree, I started working as a research assistant at the Institute for Automation of Complex Power Systems, RWTH Aachen University, where I was involved in research projects on the integration of electric vehicles into the power grid and the resilience of cyber-physical energy systems. This topic is also reflected in the research focus of my dissertation, which deals with the resilience assessment of grids with a high penetration of electric vehicle charging processes.
In my role as a research assistant at the Center for Digital Energy, I work on the topics of data spaces, interoperability and resilience as central building blocks of the energy system of the future.
