I completed my bachelor's and master's degree in Business Administration and Engineering, specializing in electrical power engineering, in 2019 with a master's thesis entitled “ Development of a model for the analysis of Nash equilibria in local energy markets with the participation of smart homes and virtual power plants ” with an M.Sc. degree.
Since the end of my studies I have been working as a research assistant at the IAEW of RWTH Aachen University and at the Digital Energy Center of Fraunhofer FIT. In my work I deal with the modeling of future supply tasks for energy system studies and the effects of a nationwide roll-out of energy sharing. Since 2023 I am group leader of the Local Energy Systems group at Fraunhofer FIT and lead the project development in the field of planning and operation of municipal energy systems, especially municipal heat planning.
